Okay I thought POKE’S viral campaign for Orange was good, neat idea but didn’t really visualise how it would work, virtual balloons floating across the internet etc…
The result though is something else. The use of flash is fantastic. The viral’ness of it all works (as soon as you have some friends playing along giving you little boosts and comparing notes) the only thing that’s lacking is a screensaver showing your location!
The main page to view your status is an excellent implementation of papervision 3D but to be honest I will rarely go there as I’ll just be watching my TunaLover balloon literally float across web pages like www.2cups1bag.com or www.thepetecollective.co.uk or the whitesnake computer game. Or even a few more BNM folks tomhume.org
or Ivan Pope’s site www.snipperoo.com

Surely they’ll get a D&AD award next year
Anyway I thought the atomicshed.com splash page needed a refresh so here it is ready for some balloons to float by (site pending)
Perhaps I should be receiving tweets about my progress!
But is it good? I’ll still be changing my contract when I get a new iPhone
If you want to give me a boost click here :D
Addition:
I guess when you submit lots of sites they’re all in the database/world together
This results in balloons traveling over rather odd ground
