KAPOW.ME moo businesscards it's all in the detail
Moo had a special deal in conjunction with LinkedIn, a free pack of 50 business cards for LinkedIn users. So never one to turn a freebie down I got these made up. The stock is the optional ‘Green’ version, environmentally considerate card and ink etc…
Now I knew that they were coming in a cool card case but what I was surprised at was the level of detail their designers had in producing a pack that makes you smile immediately as you open your package.
The card holder is a very sturdy box, it comes with two tabbed dividers and a packing receipt that doubles as a buzzword game (it looks like I got version 3 of 4)

Recently I understand UX-Brighton hosted a user-experience presentation on Out Of Box Experience (OOBE) Design – the experience of opening a product for the first time, well this would make a neat little case study. It would also be ideal for a presentation on design detail.
UPDATE : Harry Brignall has posted the slides to the presentation on his site
